LOCATION & LIGHT:
Though a quick Google search may say that Hibiscus can tolerate partial shade, Northern climates like ours mean that these plants will do best with FULL SUN. Put them in a South facing window indoors or outdoors with ample light in a well-draining planter.
WATER:
When flowering in the growing seasons, Hibiscus may require daily watering. Don't let your plant dry out - signs of this are dropping/yellowing leaves. In winter, drop your watering so that the soil becomes dry to the touch before another drink.
