Papyrus Grass has been used by humans for thousands of years! The Ancient Egyptians made papyrus paper with its thread-like stems and built boats with its buoyant stalks.
LOCATION & LIGHT:
Native to Northern Africa, Papyrus is a HIGH LIGHT that needs FULL SUN. Indoors, a spot directly in front of a South or West-facing window is ideal.
WATER:
Papyrus Grass is an exceptionally thirsty plant that prefers to be kept in consistently moist soil. It will not tolerate drying out, and is one of the few houseplants we consider difficult to overwater! Water frequently to keep Papyrus Grass happy, or leave a couple of inches at the bottom of its cover pot for lower maintenance care.
Plants and pots sold separately!
