As elegant as it is elusive, this isn’t your everyday pothos. Originating on (and named for) the island of Cebu in the Philippines, this variety of pothos sports elongated leaves and a, you guessed it, distinct blue-ish tint. Though just as easy to care for, its elongated leaves and unique colouring set the Cebu Blue apart from its more common pothos relatives. Resilient and easy-going, this is a rare plant you’ll treasure for years to come.
LOCATION AND LIGHT:
Pothos are widely loved for their ability to tolerate a wide range of lighting conditions, and the Cebu Blue is no different. This plant will thrive in BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT, but can also tolerate LOW LIGHT (though access to some amount of natural sun is a must!).
WATER:
Water thoroughly when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry to the touch, or when leaves begin to droop. Let soil dry more thoroughly during winter months, and always allow excess water to drain from the pot to avoid root rot!
