The internet’s pink-plant-craze isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and there’s no way that this adorable miniature member of the Tradescantia family won’t win you over. Growing in delicate bursts of lavender, pink, and olive green, ‘Pink Panther’ boasts the pastel vines of our sweetest dreams. As with most Tradescantia, this variety is relatively easy to care for and grows easily in most home environments. Could it get any better?

LOCATION AND LIGHT:

‘Pink Panther’ will grow its best in MEDIUM - BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT. Set your Tradescantia 5-10 feet back from South or West-facing windows, or place more closely to North or East-facing windows. 

WATER:

Water when the first 1-2 inches of soil has thoroughly dried. Tradescantia are relatively hardy, and as their leaves retain a fair bit of water they are tolerant to occasional periods of drought. Like most tropical houseplants, ‘Pink Panther’ will not appreciate overwatering. Allow all excess water to drain to avoid root rot!
