Adonidia Palms are a very popular summertime patio plant but also make an excellent indoor plant for a sunny room. This beautiful palm requires FULL SUN.
LOCATION & LIGHT:
Adonidia palm grows best when given full sun for at least 4 to 6 hours every day. If you're growing a specimen indoors, keep it near a south- or west-facing window, where it gets strong light. Outdoors, it prefers sun but can tolerate partial shade, especially on hot summer afternoons when the sun is strong.
WATER:
The Adonidia palm has a central crown of feathery leaves. It's often called self-cleaning because old, dry leaves fall off spontaneously, making cleanup easy. It grows best and puts out new leaves when it receives water regularly and its soil remains evenly moist.
