STRING OF TURTLES 4" Grower Pot
“Slow and steady wins the race” rings true for the adorable, slow-growing vines of this member of the peperomia family. Aptly named for their unique variegation, the tiny leaves of this trailing plant bear an uncanny resemblance to a turtle’s shell. Just like their amphibian counterparts, these plants will appreciate lots of BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT to bask in.
LOCATION AND LIGHT:
Native to the rainforests of Brazil, String of Turtles is naturally found under the filtered light of large tree canopies. This plant thrives in BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT, and can tolerate a few hours of direct sun each day, making East or West-facing windows their ideal environment.
Considered a semi-succulent plant, String of Turtles will do best when given long periods to dry between waterings. Drought tolerant and susceptible to overwatering, wait until the soil is near completely dry throughout the pot before giving your String of Turtles a thorough drink. Allow all excess water to drain!
