Cissus Amazonica is a unique trailing plant with leaves that are olive green with silver veining. The word Cissus comes from the Greek word for Ivy, which explains it's other name, Grape Ivy, and places it in the same family as the fruit.
Tiny grains that resemble sugar on the backside of leaves are nothing to fear - the plant naturally expells these.
LOCATION & LIGHT:
Place your Cissus Amazonica in a spot where it will receive bright, indirect light. Harsh, direct rays will scorch the foliage, washing out its deep colour.
WATER:
Allow the first inch of soil to dry before watering. These vining beauties are humidity loving, so mist regularly and consider grouping with other house plants to increase relative humidity.
