A member of the succulent family, String of Beans make a unique hanging plant that trails downward in small, pale green vines that resemble... well... bananas!  

LOCATION AND LIGHT:

String of Beans will grow best in BRIGHT DIRECT LIGHT, but will also survive in BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT. South-facing or West-facing windows make ideal homes for these water-retaining plants.  

WATER:

Like cacti, succulents thrive in gritty, dry soil. They’re sustained largely through the water retained by their leaves, and thus need less frequent water than many other plants. This species won’t tolerate excess moisture, so allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
