With over 120 different species to choose from, there is no shortage of Dracaena to love! 'Malaika' boasts bushy heads of striped, variegated growth, that closely resemble those of its cousin, Dracaena 'Warneckii'.
Malaika is one of the few striped naturally occuring cultivars that offers both yellow-greens and blue-greens in the same plant! Its colouration falls somewhere between Warneckii 'Lemon Lime' and 'Jade', making it an ideal choice for the indecisive plant parent.
The many shades of Malaika will become more distinct as the plant matures with proper care and light.
LOCATION & LIGHT:
Dracaena will do best in BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT, but will adapt to MEDIUM LIGHT conditions. Place directly in front of East or North-facing window, or 5ft-10ft removed from a South or West-facing window.
WATER:
Dracaena prefer moderately dry soil and will rot when too much moisture is present. Water when the top third of the soil is dry.
