You don’t have to be an expert in archery to appreciate this member of the ever-popular “String Of…” plant club. String of Arrows is a close relative of the String of Hearts, and has essentially identical care requirements. With vines that can reach several feet in length, this plant is easy to grow when provided with ample light.
LOCATION AND LIGHT:
String of Arrows require bright light to grow optimally, and will not tolerate low light conditions. Long gaps between leaves may indicate an inadequate amount of sun, while exposing the plant to plenty of light will encourage the leaves to grow larger and more closely together. South-facing and West-facing windows are ideal.
WATER:
As a semi-succulent plant, String of Arrows is drought tolerant and does not require terribly frequent watering. Provide a generous period of time between waterings, and water thoroughly when the soil is dry throughout the pot. Allow excess moisture to drain to avoid root rot!
