Grow your plant in bright, indirect light year-round for good foliage color and flowers. It will tolerate lower light, but the leaves will be more green than purple. Keep it out of the hot, midday sun.

WATER:

During the summertime when it’s actively growing, this plant appreciates lightly moist soil. Just let the first inch or so dry out before watering again, which will likely come down to watering around twice per week.
