Commonly known as Holy Basil, the Tulsi plant has long been used for everything from seasoning meals to brewing herbal teas. When placed in ample direct sunlight, Tulsi will occasionally boast sweet, fragrant blooms, and is sure to liven up any herb garden.
LOCATION AND LIGHT:
Place in BRIGHT DIRECT LIGHT. Tulsi needs 4-6 hours of direct sun per day, making them a perfect addition to a south-facing window, or an outdoor herb garden receiving full summer sun. These plants will not tolerate low light conditions.
WATER:
Water thoroughly and frequently, allowing only the surface of the soil to dry evenly between waterings. Allow excess water to drain from your Tulsi plant to ensure its roots do not begin to rot.
