This evergreen perennial with branching bamboo-like stems and oblong green, veined leaves that are mottled with cream and gold. It needs high humidity and BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT.
LOCATION & LIGHT:
Ginger like bright indirect light, and are happiest in front of a south or west facing window. If there is insufficient light, new leaves appear solid green rather than patterned with attractive colours. If there is too much light, the colours in the leaves fade.
WATER:
Water thoroughly when the soil has dried out at least half way down the pot. This plant is not drought tolerant.
