LOCATION AND LIGHT:
Lemon trees are sun-lovers, and as such these are HIGH/FULL LIGHT plants. Your lemon tree will do best with around 8 hours of direct sun a day, making an unobstructed South-facing window their ideal home. Lemon trees will not tolerate low light conditions. In the hot summer months, lemon trees will also love to soak up the sun outside.
WATER:
When receiving proper sunlight, Lemon trees get thirsty relatively quickly and may require more water than many other houseplants. Keep an eye on the top layer of your tree’s soil, and water thoroughly when the first 1-2 inches are dry to the touch. Allow excess water to drain to avoid root rot!
